Teqvoly Winter Poli Cup successfully held on Jahorina

The new winter spectacle “Teqvoly Winter Poli Cup on Jahorina” on the snow was held yesterday, February 13, 2021, with respect to all epidemiological measures and with the top organization of Acar Events, but also us, co-organizers,  Olympic Center Jahorina.

Twelve teams applied for this unique edition of the snow tournament played on TEQ tables. In terms of format, the first four teams from each group secured a next phase, and each match was played up to 15 points and on two sets won. In the end, this type of format turned out to be a complete success.

Temperatures that dropped to -17 degrees did not prevent the contestants from showing great talent, which made this fantastic game even more fun. In the grand final, the victory and the main prize went to Adis Hadžiahmetović and Asija Džafić.

The director of  Olympic Center Jahorina, Dejan Ljevnaić, said about the  tournament: “It is a pleasure that we had the opportunity to attend for the first time at Jahorina, the Teqvoli Cup competition in urban sports, which is a combination of volleyball and table tennis. I am very glad that Jahorina was chosen for this competition, we are always in the mood to promote and support new and innovative things. I wish a lot of success in the future to all competitors, winners, and as I have heard, this sport has the prospect of gaining “Olympic” status by 2028. We hope that this will happen as well as that OC Jahorina will have the opportunity to host a new Teqvoli tournament again. “
