Red Bull Home Run on Olympic Jahorina: Almost 200 participants took part in the race!

Yesterday, 12 Feb 2022, numerous dancing and joyful spectators enjoyed, as well as the participants of the VIII traditional mass downhill race held at the Olympic Jahorina, organized by Red Bull, VIP Jahorina and OC Jahorina. The bravest and fastest in this probably most unusual ski race in which at the start you must first run 150 meters in boots to your skis or snowboards, then to the finish the best you know to go down Jahorina. Strahinja Djokanovic and Sara Lucic were some of participants in men and women competition.

The race on the slope about two and a half kilometers long from the top to the Poljice plateau was decided in a split second, so Demir Hadžimuratović and Nikola Stanišić passed the finish line in the “fastest skier” category behind Strahinja, while among many women skiers on the slope Teodora Ceremidzic and Lana Blagojevic finished as second and third.

The fastest snowboarder and the fastest snowboarder were Eva Globanik and Nikola Borovčanin. By the way, the Red Bull Home Run race is specific in many ways, including the category for the slowest, and this year Miloš Blagojević won that title among almost two hundred participants.
