Favorite ski destination, the Olympic mountain Jahorina is having a record number of visits and attracts a large number of tourists with its facilities. In 65 days of skiing on this mountain, over 200,000 skiers have skied, with 1.9 million passes on vertical transport installations, which have been accompanied with a total of 5 new ski installations since this season.
Despite the increased capacity of the ski center Jahorina to 28,800 skiers per hour in the next period of holidays and vacations, an increased frequency of guests is expected. With the primary goal of reducing the number of injuries and increasing the safety of skiers, as well as with the aim of enjoying skiing as carefree as possible, it is necessary to strictly adhere to ski rules and rules of general conduct.
We kindly ask everyone who uses the ski slopes, whether for skiing, snowboarding, walking or any other activity, to follow and respect the signalization on the ski slopes, but also the recommendations and guidelines of our staff. It is obligatory for children under the age of 15 to have ski helmets, while this is also a recommendation for adult skiers exclusively for their safety. Before going out on the ski slopes, it is necessary to check the ski equipment, warm up and stretch. Skiers and boarders who endanger their own safety and the safety of other skiers by improper speed, boarders will be warned and then sanctioned. The mountain rescue service of Jahorina with an increased number of members present on the mountain will be available for reaction in the shortest possible time and provide adequate assistance to all skiers who need it.
