The ski season in Jahorina has officially ended after 130 days of continuous work. Traditionally, Jahorina was the most visited mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina this year as well, offering skiers and all mountain lovers a wide range of activities.
The number of guests in the 2022/2023 season is 315,000, and they achieved 2,660,000 passes. In a dynamic and exciting season, February 17, 2023 stood out as the most successful ski day. On that day, there were 8137 skiers on the mountain with 77,200 passes.
The data on 155,000 tickets sold shows that the visitors were eager for skiing and snow. The highest demand was for day tickets, of which 27,730 were sold.
The Olympic Center is particularly proud of the successful implementation of the now larger traditional campaign "Be a child of Jahorina", in which the Olympic Center provides free skiing for children. The number of applications received for the competition this season is 4,500.
Jahorina was bathed in the sun during 62 days of the winter season. Air temperature in the period from 15.11.2022. until April 30, 2023. ranged from -17.2 to 17.8 degrees.
This year's ski season on Jahorina began on December 24, 2022, and ended on May 2, 2023 after four months of active work. The season was marked by rich entertainment and competitive events, such as Ski opening, New Year's Eve with numerous visitors from all parts of the world, who had the opportunity to enjoy the music of the most famous regional performers.
While summing up the impressions from the winter season, it remains for us to prepare for the best summer yet.
Visitors are waiting for the "OLIMP" park with the largest mountain bob in the region, Offroad karting, bike park, panoramic sightseeing of the Poljica gondola and many contents unique in Europe. As the biggest novelty this summer, visitors will be welcomed by a tourist cart.
