January 22, 2019General Director of the Olympic Center Jahorina, Mr. Dejan Ljevnaić together with representatives of the management of the Olympic Center Jahorina visited the Dolomites, where he met with Thomas Mussner the director of the largest ski center in the world, Dolomiti Superski. The aim of this visit is the exchange of experiences on the topic of management and development of ski centers. On that occasion, Mr. Thomas expressed his enthusiasm about the results achieved by OC Jahorina’s management, because this is very rare in today’s ski business. We remind that the ski center Jahorina, compared to the winter season 2017/18, increased revenues by 340 percent. Also, the management of the Olympic Center also met with Samuel Bergmeister, Project Manager of the Tourism Organization of Val Gardena, with whom they discussed the new infrastructure projects in the mountain center such as the Ice Fountain, for which the project solution was taken and put in their realization plan for the next season at the Olympic Jahorina as well.
“The aim of this visit was to gather the knowledge and experience from the best and most visited ski resort in the world, Dolomiti, but also to present the ski center of Jahorina in the best light and to cooperate with them. We came across great support from the administration and the companies, the owners of installations in the Dolomites, who reacted very positively to the changes that took place in Jahorina. We really appreciate their opinion, because Dolomiti Superski is the leader in this business with 1,200 km of ski slopes and over 3 million visits per season. New knowledge and advice from the better are always welcome and I will try to implicate all positive examples from their practice on Jahorina, “said Mr Ljevnaić, director of OC Jahorina
